The Ambrid boiler is a hybrid smoke & water tube design boiler, with the combustor based on the principal of fluidized bed combustion (FBC). The fuel bed is fluidized by the injection of air from the bottom of the bed, thought a set of air nozzles, using a FD fan, This produces a fuel bed resembling a boiling fluid , which helps to achieve uniform mixing and efficient combustion.
